Concerts are this weekend! So, in tribute to the music you'll either be missing, playing in, or attending...check out this sweet .midi sample of the Jesus Christ Superstar theme. On, Wisconsin!
I was just listening to Lupe Fiasco's second album, The Cool, and kind of stumbled over this song. It's not exactly hip hop like the rest of the album, maybe that's why its called Uncool on an album called The Cool? Anyways, its' really powerful. I like it, check it out.
That's pretty much how I feel about them. By the way, why do we keep getting snow? ...its April, DOG GONE IT. But then again, this probably happens every year and I just forget. So, lets just say the two exams I got back so far from last week resulted in a almost failing grade and an almost perfect score. And I really couldn't afford to get the failing grade. Go team me... thinking about a different career focus right about now.
Yet another amazing discovery in the genre of underground hip hop for me. Ive been listening to these two songs for the past week, really great stuff. There's some really good remixes on YouTube too. Read up if you're interested. There was a third time around for Crooklyn too, but the original 'Crooklyn' is still my favorite.
In honor of it being Saturday (well, 8 more minutes anyways), I wanted to share this. I'm also still pumped from a big Wisconsin basketball win last night, plus the fact that all my round 2 picks have been right so far, Huzzah!
